Want to give us your printing data and have questions about file formats, printing procedures and other things? Below we have summarized the most frequently asked questions about our printing services.

1. How do I submit my printing files to Nelson Printing?

Please send us your files by e-mail at nelsonprinting@att.net or on a USB flash drive, CD, or DVD.

 

2. What file format should I submit for printing?

PDF is a preferred format for printing. For photo prints we recommend the formats JPG, EPS, PSD, and TIFF.

 

3. What resolution do I need for poster prints?

With posters or other large items we recommend a resolution of at least 300 or 600 dpi. In individual cases, a resolution of 200 dpi may suffice.

 

4. Can I review my proof on a computer screen or require a printout proof before it is printed?

For accuracy, we will email a proof to our customer for approval. There would be up to three free proofs available by email. Any additional change requests thereafter might incur extra charges, and production would be delayed. 

A printout hard copy of proof is available upon request. Additional charge would be applied to the order.
